The UNESCO Chair in New Information Technologies in Education for All is functioning at the International Research and Training Center for Information Technologies and Systems (IRTC irtc.org.ua) since 2002.

The UNESCO Chair is catalyzing regional debate on how knowledge, education and learning need to be reimagined in Ukraine while dealing with increasing complexity, uncertainty, and turbulence. Serving as a laboratory of ideas, the UNESCO Chair guides efforts to help all stakeholders understand the role intelligent information technologies can play towards achievement of SDGs.

Director of the IRTC, Oleksandr Volcov is a Chair holder of the UNESCO Chair in New Information Technologies in Education for All (ITEA).
